I would take these words literally and show everyone how well they are truly meant for me having undergone a most agonizing ten-hour bone operation to excise the bone tumor on my left femur. About a foot of my bone, including my knee, was removed and replaced with a mobile joint titanium imported from Taiwan. The surgery, which was made painlessly, thanks to modern science and the pain management protocol at St. Luke’s Hospital, used more than “stick and stones” that not only broke my bone but totally removed it. But what was more remarkable was how this agonizing operation made me strong and how the fearful word, the Big C, never ever put me down. I would like to credit this strength to the other, much bigger word, God’s Word.
I never thought I could be this strong, knowing how everyone dreads this most devastating human disease. I read, watch TV, listen to people talk about it and yet I remain as fearless. I am quite sure it is because while at my lowest after being diagnosed with bone tumor, the Word of God came with such an assurance that no matter what they say about this affliction, nothing could be more assuring than the grace of His healing, which is in His very words.
Everyone in the family has since been under this Healing Grace. They also showed so much strength and assurance that they also drew form the Word of God. I am now undergoing long-term rehabilitation, but surrender, impatience and boredom never ever crept my mind. The Living Word, which is God’s, has reinforced our relationship as a family and, more importantly, with the Lord our God.
is that true? you had undergone that kind of operation.. my sakit ka pla.. kamusta ka naman ngayon? i will pray you nalang to give you guidance by our creator, keep safe, be healthy . God bless. -joema

Hi Luis. You’re Camille’s boyfriend right? Hehe. Napakadaming kwento din ni Cam tungkol sayo. Anyway, the Lord has completely changed me. I just couldn’t hide the joy in my heart about it. He has given and continuously giving me and my family plenty of overflowing blessings that are truly unimaginable.
Thanks for the note. Hope to meet you soon personally. Oh, by the way, walang tawagan ng “sir”! Hehe. Magkasing edad lang tayo. Hehe. God bless.
