Getting out of my league.

A slice of Joel Emmanuel's life.

Letting Go… Letting GOD.

Problems and trials come to us unexpectedly. It’s a fact that when we encounter problems, we do worry… A LOT.

But is it right to worry? Where is your faith in God?

Yes, it is alright to worry, but don’t let your worry to take over you. We have a big and awesome GOD. Nothing is impossible with the Lord. All we have to do is to PRAY… to have faith and trust in Him. There is no need to worry, in the first place. Just pray and turn it over to God, expect Him to take care of it. Just keep your faith going and make an action as well, because faith without action is dead.

Letting go and letting God can also be applied in a relationship. I’ll get it straight to the point: If GOD tells you to let go of your current relationship, will you let it go? No matter how hard the situation is, if God’s message and ‘command’ for you is to let go, LET IT GO. It doesn’t mean that God doesn’t care about your feelings. It’s just He has something better prepared for you. A well-written plan of God is awaiting us. Surely, letting go is hard when you truly love the person that you’re about to let go. But even though it’s hard, God gives you His very uplifting words and promises. He is faithful to His promises; all we have to do is to be faithful to Him too.

Why I am I sharing this? Because I am currently experiencing it right now. And to be honest, it is really hard to wait. But while waiting, and reading God’s words, you will experience an extreme peace in your heart. You will experience the assurance of God’s promises for you. You will experience the uttermost joy that you can experience because you are serving God wholeheartedly. It’s really a nice feeling, and I am happy with it. Even though I miss her, I just keep it to myself though I know that she feels it, because I know and feel that she feels the same way too towards me. Regardless of the situation that we have right now, I am happy that we are maturing. I am happy that we are growing individually, and as a couple. I am happy that we are being prepared for the future… for our own future. I am happy that she is growing more spiritually, as well as I am. I am happy that in spite of our hard situation, we are doing everything right… and that we are HAPPY.

So that’s it. Worry causes you to feel anxiety, and feeling anxiety won’t help you solve your problem. Your worrying becomes bigger the more you worry about it. Just be optimistic, have faith and PRAY. Let go of whatever problem that you have and LET GOD take over your heart. Trust GOD and you will feel the uttermost joy and peace in your heart.
